On September 12, 2022 the DPH released updated guidance on Admission of Residents on Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) to Long-Term Care Facilities. The memo expands upon previous guidance issued in a Circular Letter in November 2016. The guidance includes additional information on methadone, buprenorphine, extended-release injectable naltrexone and the use and storage of naloxone.
