The Legislature’s Joint Committee on Elder Affairs has scheduled a public in person and virtual hearing on Monday, April 10th at 9:30 am on the Omnibus Nursing Home reform bill: An Act to Improve Quality and Oversight of Long-Term Care. The bill is a refile of a bill originally authored by the Joint Committee on Elder Affairs in the prior legislative session which consolidated 16 separate pieces of legislation filed during the 2021-2022 legislative session. Please find a Section-by-Section summary here. Mass Senior Care will be testifying at the hearing.

The public is invited to participate in this hearing. The Chairs will limit testimony to 3 minutes per speaker. To register to testify, please provide contact information via this form by Friday, April 9th. Those registering to testify virtually will receive further instructions on how to participate by e-mail. Same-day registration will only be available for those testifying in person.
