MassHealth will be conducting its mandatory quarterly Nursing Facility Occupancy Survey for the July 1 census date. All licensed nursing facilities in the Commonwealth are required to complete the survey, including those that do not have MassHealth or Medicare residents.
If you believe there is someone else in your organization who is better suited to complete this occupancy survey, please inform us at SurveyResponse@umassmed.edu.
On Friday, July 1st, you will receive an email invitation to participate in this survey from UMass Chan Medical School originating from a “us.confirmit.com” address. If you are the contact person for more than one nursing facility, you will receive separate emails with a unique survey link for each facility.
It is important that you complete the survey on time as MassHealth uses the data to estimate the number of facility beds available in different areas of the state. If a facility fails to submit the survey on time, EOHHS may impose a per diem penalty of $100 per day pursuant to 101 CMR 512.06(4).
