The DPH is encouraging long-term care facilities to attend an upcoming virtual summit on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EST discussing Community Resources for Substance Use Disorders, hosted by Abt Associates and their partner, Healthcentric Advisors. At this webinar you will hear about several valuable community resources you can reach out to with questions around providing care to residents with substance use disorders. The panel includes representatives from the Massachusetts Consultation Service for Treatment of Addiction and Pain (MCSTAP), Health Resources in Action (HRiA), the Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health in Nursing Facilities, and the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) - Peer Recovery Support Centers. There will be time allotted for Q&A at the end of the session.
Staff from Massachusetts long-term care facilities who attend the entire presentation will be eligible to receive a $25 gift card for their participation (see this flyer for additional details).
