Clinical & Regulatory Committee

The Clinical & Regulatory Committee focuses relevant issues and concerns and provides clinical perspectives on a variety of topics including care transitions and readmissions. The Committee reviews and advises Mass Senior Care on regulations, guidance, and policies that impact nursing facilities; reviews and analyzes CMS data as well as providing feedback related to both state and federal surveys. The Committee meets on a quarterly basis and participation in this Committee is open to all Mass Senior Care nursing facility members.

2024 Schedule: This Committee meets from 10:00am - 11:00am on the following dates: February 7, May 15, August 21 and November 20.

Finance and Reimbursement Committee

The Finance and Reimbursement Committee focuses on relevant issues and concerns related to Medicare and Medicaid payment policy issues, as well as operational issues that impact revenue and receivables, including eligibility. The Committee reviews and advises Mass Senior Care on proposed regulatory actions related to reimbursement. Meetings will be held on a quarterly basis. Participation in this Committee is open to all Mass Senior Care nursing facility members.

The HR committee will keep abreast of legal, regulatory, and legislative issues pertinent to HR, discuss career ladder and funding opportunities to grow your workforce, and share best practices in recruitment, retention and employee education. Meetings will be held on a quarterly basis. Participation in this committee is open to all Mass Senior Care nursing facility members.
