The DPH, in partnership with Abt Associates and Healthcentric Advisors, has released a self-paced online course titled: The Care of Residents with Opioid & Stimulant Use Disorders in Long-Term Care Settings. Information about the learning sessions can be found here. Nursing facilities that are receiving the SUD Rate Add-on for Rate Year 2021 (current rate year), are required to complete these modules by June 30, 2022. This requirement is contained in 101 CMR 206.10 (14) (download (mass.gov)

The Introduction, Module 1 and Module 2 of the self-paced training are now available on the learning management system (LMS).  To access the LMS please follow the directions below:

Step 1 Create an account (or log in if you already have one) in the Healthcentric Advisors’ Learning Center: https://learningforquality.org

Step 2 Once logged in, click on this link: The-Care-of-Residents-with-Opioid-and-Stimulant-Use-Disorders-in-Long-Term-Care-Settings.
