  • Upcoming Workforce Webinar and RCA Onboarding Toolkit
October 22, 2020

Massachusetts Senior Care Association has developed the Resident Care Assistant Onboarding Toolkit for Members offering best practices to assist with hiring and onboarding RCAs. The Resident Care Assistant (RCAs) role is a non-certified position which can help to support CNAs and nursing staff in skilled nursing facilities and create a training pipeline to critically needed direct care workforce.

Please join Mass Senior Care for a webinar on Friday, October 30th from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Meeting the New HPPD Requirement: What Nursing Facilities Need to Know. As part of the Baker Administration and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services recently released Nursing Facility Accountability and Supports Package 2.0, nursing facilities will have to meet a minimum Hours Per Patient Per Day (HPPD) requirement beginning this winter. This webinar will provide nursing facilities with information about the HPPD requirement, reporting and how to onboard RCAs.
